# AI browser shopping test

DreamHost tested five AI browsers on one Amazon task: research grinder coffee makers under $100, tabulate five, add two to cart.

Result: Perplexity Comet completed the task and stopped at the cart. ChatGPT Atlas also reached checkout but was too slow to be usable.

## How it was set up

Perplexity Comet, ChatGPT Atlas Agent mode, Opera Neon, Dia and Chrome with Gemini, each given the same natural language prompt on Amazon.

## Worth knowing

The excerpt is cut off before the Opera Neon, Dia and Chrome results. Testing was one shopping task plus research prompts.
