# Claude Code composes original music

Claude Code wrote Python from scratch to synthesize original songs, a rock track with vocals, matching music videos, and a five-track album with cover art.

Result: Produced a five-track album plus EDM and rock songs with visualizations, all from one-shot prompts; a sampling attempt and getting English vocals were weaker.

## How it was set up

Claude Code with Python waveform synthesis, macOS say command for vocals, FFmpeg for video, and nanobanana plus claude-code-image for cover art. No third-party audio dependencies in early runs.

## Worth knowing

Vocals were hard to get, sampling a song worked poorly, and output sounds like retro game music. Repeated runs kept reusing words like neon.
