# Daily planning agent across work tools

The author built Plan My Today, a read-only agent and MCP server that pulls tasks from many work tools and prioritizes them for the day.

Result: A dashboard and chatbot that merge tasks from calendar, mail, Linear, GitHub, Slack and meeting notes into one scored, prioritized view the author uses daily.

## How it was set up

Custom MCP server with one tool per source, concurrent fetches, per-source priority scoring, a local JSON store, and Keycard token exchange for auth across seven provider resources.

## Worth knowing

Agent is read-only by design; the author still changes task status in the source apps and tuned the scoring weights by hand.
