# Gatsby lesson plan spreadsheet

Claude with Computer Use downloaded The Great Gatsby, researched lesson plans and standards, and filled a spreadsheet on its own.

Result: Ethan Mollick received a finished Gatsby lesson plan spreadsheet for high schoolers with no obvious errors, after delegating and walking away.

## How it was set up

Claude with the Computer Use beta, accessed via API. It took screenshots, then drove the mouse and keyboard in a browser and spreadsheet app.

## Worth knowing

The system is quite slow. Mollick found no obvious errors but says there may be some, and notes reliability concerns.

## Prompt

```text
Put together a lesson plan on [book] for [grade level] students. Break it into readable chunks, create assignments tied to [learning standard], and put everything in a single spreadsheet.
```

## Evidence note
