A Hermes agent running on a local Qwen3.6-35B model set up an Open WebUI server and handled account management from the author's phone.

Result: The author's teen now has their own account on a home-network local model for chat, research and troubleshooting, with no outside provider needed.

## How it was set up

Qwen3.6-35B-A3B served through llama.cpp on a home server, Open WebUI as the interface, and Hermes Agent driven from a phone.

## Worth knowing
