# Household automation add-ons for OpenClaw

The author built OpenClaw add-ons for outbox messaging, trips, flights, and Instacart carts that run their family's household on a Mac Mini.

Result: In daily production use: Instacart carts auto-staged twice weekly at 100% item accuracy, plus flight alerts and scheduled iMessages without an LLM.

## How it was set up

OpenClaw on a Mac Mini M4 with SQLite, Python daemons under launchd, BlueBubbles iMessage, FlightAware AeroAPI, and instacart-pp-cli. Outbox setup takes about 15 minutes.

## Worth knowing

The agent only stages the Instacart cart; a person must tap Place Order. Earlier LLM-driven versions failed, e.g. 11 of 14 cart items wrong.
