Password reset migration experiment
Claude Code with Opus migrated a password reset flow in a legacy web app, with the author closely supervising under a pre-made plan.
It cost about two months of Pro subscription over half a working day, and ended up slightly slower than doing the migration by hand.
Overview
How it was set up
Claude Code with the latest Opus via company API tokens. A plan was developed in the harness first, then agents worked under close supervision.
Worth knowing
Needed constant babysitting, careful review to catch subtle errors, off-topic drift, and significant cleanup afterward. Architecture was not always on point.
