# Personal assistant agent for daily work

The authors built a personal agent with Claude Cowork or Claude Code, connected through Rube to their email, calendar, Slack, Airtable and other apps.

Result: The agent triages the inbox, schedules meetings, books flights, pulls Airtable data, scrapes exhibitor lists, and takes notes as a second brain.

## How it was set up

Claude Cowork or Claude Code on a paid plan, Rube as the connector service for Gmail, Calendar, Drive and more, plus Firecrawl for scraping. Skills and memory teach it preferences.

## Worth knowing

Mistakes and prompt injection are real risks. Authors suggest drafts over sending, a limited assistant email, and close monitoring.
