# Scout automates CRM pipeline hygiene

Microsoft Scout, an agent built on OpenClaw, opened a browser, inspected CRM opportunity records, exported a summary to SharePoint, and posted compliance findings to Teams.

Result: A CRM pipeline check that needed a manual export plus a separate analysis tool now runs end to end, with out-of-compliance entries flagged in Teams.

## How it was set up

Microsoft Scout desktop app (v0.22, frontier access) on OpenClaw and WorkIQ, with Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, browser control and JavaScript inspection. Runs as a scheduled automation.

## Worth knowing

Desktop app needs the machine awake; automations pause when the device sleeps. Significant actions ask for confirmation by default.
