# SQLite-like engine in Rust

Claude, Codex, and Gemini workers, two of each, built a SQLite-style database engine in Rust by claiming tasks through git lock files.

Result: About 19k lines of Rust across 154 commits in three days. The engine passes 64 SQLLogicTest queries and 282 AI-written unit tests.

## How it was set up

One Claude bootstrap run made docs, crate skeleton, and test script. Six looping workers pulled main, claimed a task, tested against sqlite3 as oracle, and pushed. A Gemini coalescer removed duplication.

## Worth knowing

A supported SQL subset only: no subqueries, CASE, or EXISTS, and no concurrency. 54.5% of commits were lock coordination, and the coalescer ran only once.

## Evidence note

Public repo, SQLLogicTest results, commit counts, and usage screenshots
