Telegram text RPG shipped
Claude Code wrote every line of Zapaleni, a Slavic folklore text RPG in a Telegram bot, for a project manager who does not code.
A prototype took two evenings and a live game six weeks; after seven weeks it had 164 players, 109 active in one day.
Overview
How it was set up
Claude Code writes the bot code, deploys over SSH, checks the bot is alive, builds analytics, and runs tens of thousands of simulated fights to rebalance classes.
Worth knowing
The author made every design and balance call. Growth came from co-op mechanics and word of mouth, not the AI.
