Reviving a 1991 assembly game
Claude Code CLI with Sonnet helped the author recompile their 1991 DOS assembly code using UASM and run it in DOSBox.
All the author's old utilities, such as picture converters and sprite extractors, now compile and run in DOSBox. The main game does not compile yet.
Overview
How it was set up
Claude Code CLI with Sonnet 4.6, the UASM assembler (MASM-compatible), and DOSBox for running the old DOS programs.
Worth knowing
The main game still does not compile. The author expects a few more hours of work.
